The Duo, inspired by a common desire to discover the heritage of Polish music, undertook an endeavour the capstone of which – in the form of a CD – you are holding in your hands.

The ‘Chopin – Alter Ego’ project began over a year and a half ago, and its conceptual seed was a collection of nine pieces for percussion duo composed by Tomasz Arnold, each based on a different musical form from the output of Fryderyk Chopin.
